As I imagine Brand went off and shared with SHIELD, Steve would have shared the events of the Asgard housewarming party. Namely:

• Odin has apparently used Asgardian magic to link Thor and Loki's well-being together. That is, when one of them gets hurt, the other one does, too.


• Thor showed up hurt because Loki got hurt.


• Loki got hurt by Schmidt. A second Schmidt. There are two Schmidts. One of them belongs to Thanos?


• They're better now! Kind of. Sif and Brand dragged Loki back to the Asgardian house.


• Healing one also seems to heal the other, so, that's cool.
