At some point during the day, Bruce will return to wherever he is staying in Stark Tower and find that his stuff is all gone. This may be BEFORE Pepper finds him to give him a key card, but she will find him ... sooner or later. Clint, Natasha, Steve and Thor also receive similar key cards along with an address: 890 Fifth Avenue.

The key cards are both a little thicker and heavier than you might expect, but they bend like thick latex. The base is white with red and black stripes. There is a pale A with an arrow that unlocks the card's screen when swiped by the authorized cardholder. It looks kind of like this:

The cards function as a link to the other Avengers and to Jarvis. They are also panic buttons, able to send a signal to the others on the team. They can be used for video calls, or for taking video and uploading it via Jarvis.

They also unlock doors at the Avengers Mansion. I guess.

You can @go avengers and head upstairs to @makeroom. Janet and Vance, you can go ahead and @makeroom if you want, but Stark hasn't given you a key yet ICly. HE WILL. Feel free to redesc the rooms.

Important details:

  • Bruce: There is a balcony in Bruce's room that faces the park. Since Stark's room is the other room like that, he is CLEARLY playing SCIENCE FAVORITES. The door is not wide enough to allow the Hulk through, but if he stumbles out mid-change ... well, the hope is there for minimizing damage, anyway. And the floors are specially reinforced. His card also grants him access to the basement labs.

  • Clint: Clint's room is actually on the floor above the others. He's in the attic. It's still classy as shit. The ceilings do have a slope to them, though, which indicates his proximity to the roof. His windows open to a widow's walk (haha) that gives him free access to the roof. He also has the best views of the entire area. It isn't quite 360 degrees, but it is a short walk for that last 90 degrees.

  • Natasha: Natasha's room is much like the other unassigned rooms. At a loss, Stark has left behind a case of vodka. Good vodka. Good, Russian vodka.

  • Steve: There's a drafting table in the study and the natural light in here is awful good. It's at just the angle someone might want for ... art ... things. Framed in a prominent location in the study is a vintage Captain America propaganda poster. About fighting VD.

  • Thor: The furniture in Thor's room is a little ... sturdier than in the other rooms, and given more to the kind of wood and metal gleam that Asgardian sensibilities dictate. There are a couple of bottles of cask-strength Scotch. While he may not have a balcony looking out over the park, he does have a balcony, because sometimes you just want to go fly.

Videos of the Hulk's small rampage in Central Park are all over youtube by the time the sun has finished setting on July 31, and it buzzes all over twitter. He makes the eleven o'clock local news. Newscasters on the cable news in the morning start asking questions about the Avengers again, framed around images of the Hulk apparently trying to brain Captain America with an abnormally large piece of tree.

Banner's name still eludes the general public in connection with the Hulk, but a few fuzzy shots of his almost entirely naked body and facial features that make it out onto the internet render this only a matter of time.

FROM: Thor (dictated); Random SHIELD Employee (typed)

Lady and Gentleman,

I have met the woman Rogers and Banner reported. She is Valkyrie, and akin to me as a distant cousin. It is difficult to explain, as humans have no such relations. She would make an extraordinary ally. She is strong, quick, and wields a powerful weapon. As she is now, she means no threat to SHIELD or this world.

I have asked Agent Romanov to speak with her about your organization. She has the most pleasant demeanor among you, and is also highly capable. I mean no offense.

I also recommend Valkyrie be considered for recruitment with haste.

Farewell.

(Recorded on Bruce's voicemail)

I will seek out and speak to this woman you found. Thank you for your mail. And also, be wary of those who call themselves of Asgard, or say they are my acquaintance. We should speak soon on matters of great importance. Um. I am not certain how to stop this message. (there are twenty extra seconds of windy sounds before the message ends).

ATTACH: IMG0001.jpg [a kind of fuzzy cell phone camera shot that is partially the edge of Banner's thumb but mostly an image of Valkyrie]

I don't think this is the same woman that you saw the other day. She called herself Valkyrie, not Enchantress. Met her w/Rogers. Apparently her sword is only visible to ... special people. I feel especially ... special ... knowing that.

She said she wasn't Asgardian but is a friend of Thor's Dad. She said to say hi to Thor. Hi, Thor. I don't know if you read emails.

Might want to include the park in our scans.
