SUBJECT: China Shenanigans
ATTACHMENT: china.7z

Attached are various findings from autopsies to computers which I won't summarize. Go read them.

I'll give Bruce another couple of days to dick around with the samples. In the meantime, I'm pulling Vision to work on overhauling our comms while I work on another round of defenses on the suit, Rhodey this means you too, to try to negate the effects of the interference.

Then we're going to China and we're finding out what the fuck they are doing. I'd like to send one group to check out the area where my suit almost went down the first time and another group to check out the factory. Spend a couple of days to get a feel for the area before stomping all over it.

Any other bad ideas?

The factory is mostly that: factory. What corporate offices that exist are just a handful on the upper tier levels that overlook machinery and haven't seen a single suit, certainly no private civilian cars trucking in ever. It's a very empty kind of place -- there is no main workforce, it seems, despite it's obviously running. A factory of this size should pull in up to a hundred staffmembers a day, and there's no activity of that kind -- no carpools, no traffic coming from the city or the outlying villages of ordinary every day workers.

The traffic that is coming in are trucks, rough-terrain vehicles, all military grade stuff (and regional). Most of them come in, like. Squads? Of dudes? They are almost nomadic in terms of either crashing on the figurative couches of outlying villages or camping out in the desert, seemingly pretty comfortably. (If you want to attack some while I'm away, pick a GM and I'll give further advice. They're not really doing much, mostly keeping control of the territory, it seems. They keep in touch via radio, which could be tappable, but all are speaking in Mandarin so you'll need a translator or a Vance.)

The buildings are well guarded. Hard to tell how proficient the guards are, but they are well armed, from sidearms to assault rifles, and without uniform. No sign of obvious branding, like visible Ten Rings tattoos. They survey from the rooftop, from the ground, move in and out.

At one stage, a massive transport vehicle comes in. Science detects that it's carrying lots of people. It drives into the factory loading bay area where it's not seen again. Tracking its path shows that it came from one of the blank out military areas that SHIELD confirmed has been a known secret for a while. Oh.

The main access ways seems to be that loading bay, and numerous smaller entrances and exists, including the foyer type set up on the emptyish corporate end. Imaging warns about underground structures. It gets its power from the main grid that powers Korla, but probably has its own backup sources.

Exploring the mountains shows off just lots of mountains, for the most part, but there is evidence of some roadwork here and there, and tunnel entryways. There is still a fair amount of interference that will mess up ordinary technologies, and it's impossible at this moment to detect ahead of time where it's exactly coming from. If anyone wants to search in earnest, drop me a line. It's something I'd rather GM myself but happy to give advice if you're antsy.

I can probably keep going but instead I'm going to bed. Drop notes here if there's anything that catches your eye you want more deets on, or if you want to do anything interesting prior to tomorrow.
