Event Planning: SVALBARD
Oct. 18th, 2012 01:04 pmThings to keep in mind while setting yourselves up for Sunday:
1. Intel will place both Schmidt and Loki inside the main facility at the time of approach/attack in addition to the bulk of security forces (Event 1) so Avengers in this scene should anticipate heavy armed resistance in addition to two hosts with the most. Missile silo team (Event 2) should anticipate things like bearsbeets battlestar galactica, HYDRA forces sent on intercept or already based nearby and long-range fire or shelling if they're caught out in the open. Not everyone in Event 2 needs to know how to disarm/dismantle a warhead, but maybe at least one should unless you've been crash-coursed in advance or find a different solution.
2. Try to place yourself keeping the skill sets of your character in mind in terms of where it'd make the most sense for you to be. Ask Stark or a GM for a nudge in the right direction if you're unsure.
3. There's only about four hours of daylight in Svalbard. Depending upon when you guys strike, it may be awful dark around Event 2.
4. Flying around is likely going to be dangerous if the flak guns are manned. Do a barrel roll.
5. Everywhere is going to be dangerous. Do a barrel roll.
6. Let's do the fork in the garbage disposal.
7. Loki may have more things to add to this so keep an eye out for possible edits later in the day.
