Tempting to just make the photo image of the polar bear with a video feed on its head my entire reconnoiter report. The full report is attached, with photos etc., of everything we discovered in our circuit before we were forced to withdraw.
HYDRA has turned its residency on the isle of Svalbard into a defensible fortress. They occupy the town and the castle. There are watch towers and signal boosters throughout the perimeter. All kinds of CCTV, video surveillance expected. Barton and I concur that motion detection is likely; possibly vibration or auditory sensors or both. There's also troops on vehicle patrols. Blast doors set in the side of the mountain leave us strong suspicions that there is more happening underground.
Per Stark, the guns we discovered by satellite image have some kind of alien technology affect, but its effect is unknown since we drew no fire. I feel able to draw some conclusions, though. I invite you to draw your own.
HYDRA has somehow conscripted the local wildlife as guard animals. Valkyrie, Sif, Barton and I were engaged, destroyed two polar bears and forced to retreat under gunfire.
