JAN 3, 2013, RHODE ISLAND -- The holiday season ended on a tragic note for one family, when a woman (36) was found dead in her family home by her mother. Police have issued an official statement that this incident is yet another murder in the recent Stark Industry slayings, describing strong evidence that her death was "disguised as a bizarre accident" and took place when she was briefly alone preparing brunch for four.
The family had been enjoying an extended holiday vacation in their residence in Rhode Island. Authorities have not disclosed the name of the employee in order to protect the family and the investigation underway. However, police have stated that she was employed by Stark Industries in administrative capacity. The deceased had no known enemies at the workplace. Notably, this was the first Stark Industries slaying to have been committed outside of Manhattan.
This killing comes only 4 days after authorities shut down a website selling offensive T-shirts with slogans referring to the murders*. At this time, agencies have not commented on whether or not further connections have been found between the murders and Hammer Technologies.
The burial will be private and the location remains undisclosed.
