Talk Show Circuit
Nov. 9th, 2012 09:36 amAs part of their new PR campaign for the Avengers, the team Stark hired has arranged to send Vance out to a number of talk shows, starting local with New York 1 or something like that (but not as local as whatever network made that show that reviewed Roz's play, it should be noted. That is too local.) and working up to Good Morning America, Kelly & Whoever It Is This Week, The View, the Today Show, the part of the Today Show with drunk Kathy Lee, etc., whatever else we feel like would be useful or funny. Depending how the morning shows go they might then send him on to the evening shows, Letterman and Kimmel and Fallon and the Daily Show and whatever. Places where people ask him questions.
The basic goal is to put him out there as a new face of the Avengers, someone young and relate-able, who can tell stories about the more famous Avengers and give the public some insight into what it's like to be them, and start building up their celebrity brand/cult. And since he's been very active in their local work, especially their work during and since the hurricane, it's a good way to highlight the Avengers' efforts there and to maybe announce some fundraising effort they're doing for it if we make one up.
So: if anyone has other thoughts to add about what he should be doing, please stick them in the comments. And if you have any ideas about questions he might get asked by whoever, stick those in the comments, too, and I will answer them IC, like we did with Steve's press conference.
