TO: Avengers, Hill, Coulson, Fury
FROM: Thor (dictated)

Stark mentioned Amora might have discovered the Blight on Earth. The Blight is an ancient creature, but not of any known realm. In legend, it has destroyed entire worlds, but separating fact and fantasy is difficult with the Blight. The risk of its presence on Earth is too great to be ignored, however.

I contacted and met with Amora in Central Park. She had conditions for releasing information. We agreed upon terms. None of the terms influence any other Avengers or members of SHIELD.

I discovered evidence of a supernatural predator attacking a human. There were deep gouges, claw marks, across several trees high above. There was remains of dried blood. The tracks left during the attack indicate a brief brawl, grappling, and then complete submission.

I would have dismissed Amora's insistence that the Blight was responsible were it not for an image she conjured of one of the men. He was impossibly disfigured, and bore signs of unnatural biological enhancement.

Jarvis was able to discover footage of one of the men entering Central Park through unnatural means. It is included.

Video: (A man leaps from a skyscraper over thirty stories tall and falls towards the trees of Central Park. Before he strikes the ground, something shoots from his arm (or perhaps it is his arm!) and attaches itself to a tree. A moment later he disappears into the foliage. The man is not Peter Parker.)

Hand written and delivered to Avenger's Mansion (this probably means Stark) late Tuesday evening...

Snuck in this morning, spent most of the day crawling around air ducts. Seriously, why does no one clean theirs?!

Upper levels looks like a skeleton crew in the control room. Some green eyes. Lots of floors empty unless you count the SHIELD guards. Quiet too. Not a lot of talking. Creepy. Sometimes a suit made an appearance, but usually like just crossing from point A to B. Lots of accents. England, France, Spain, Portugal and Germany at least. Some I couldn't quite place. Also a couple of Americans but they are a definite minority.

Got down to the basement labs and it looks like Moving Day. Lots of agents. Research and projects are being packed up and cleaned out. Some of the labs are already cleared. Activity seems centralized around the talent-suckers. You know, the "important" projects. Phase 2 and Tesseract-related experimentation and the like. They are taking notes, computers, equipment, pretty much everything that isn't bolted down and plenty of things that were.

They are also cleaning out experimental weapons and artifacts, new and old. Let's just say if it was important, it's being crawled all over. Saw Schmidt fairly regularly down there to smooth over issues and direct traffic. Loki was in and out less predictably.

I am going to go use all the hot water in the Mansion now. Seriously. Gross.

Stark whined at Schmidt until he agreed to release a green-eyed SHIELD agent every twelve hours as long as we leave him alone. He'll execute an agent for every time we hit him where it hurts. If we storm the castle, he'll personally kill as many as he can.

Steve, Schmidt misses you.

Also, it looks like they might be moving stuff out of the warehouses. Jan will tell us more about what is happening in HQ when she checks it out.
