SHIELD Update

aa_starkStark brought back a pair of SHIELD agents from his meeting with Schmidt. They are locked in a room with Jarvis keeping a tight eye on them, and he's asked that at least one of the Avengers be around to keep an eye on them as well. If you want to RP having been on agent-watch, feel free. They are here until Fury, Coulson, or Hill decides what to do with them. According to Schmidt they were agents loyal to Fury who were under the influence of Loki's enchantment, now broken. MAYBE THAT IS EVEN TRUE.
So far as Schmidt goes: Stark isn't really sure what his plan is and he is annoyed about that. Schmidt doesn't expect to be the Director of SHIELD forever but he is unwilling to let go of it quite yet.
Schmidt has promised that he will not attack civilians or other friendlies as long as we don't attack him or SHIELD HQ. He didn't seem to care much about us taking out other SHIELD stockpiles or off-site datacenters, which, PS, means that despite all efforts, it is difficult to tell just how much information Schmidt and his allies have and how much SHIELD & Stark managed to fry.
So ??? and continue as we have maybe. Possibly move from destroying to relocating stockpiles. Maybe he wants us to shoot our own feet off and leave SHIELD gutted when Fury is in charge? Or maybe Schmidt is waiting for us to mess up there and is going to use it against us: death of locals, or property damage, something.
This is what he tells general Avengers and SHIELD people, anyway. He might have more to say to some individuals.

SHIELD Update Update
Sep. 7th, 2012 10:37 pmaa_starkOver Friday and Saturday, Stark seeks people out one on one to add something that he didn't want to put out in a broad announcement. This is Avengers-only. That means Thor, but not Sif. That means Natasha and Clint, but not Coulson -- oh shit they are gone? Well Coulson you tell them that he has an update for them. Nothing for you to worry about. Go watch some supernanny and comb your hair. As in that one hair left on your head.
So anyway in further updates: Schmidt released the agents and has offered to release what he CLAIMS to be SHIELD information if we don't hit HQ. Obviously that means he is interested in protecting HQ. So we need to find out why he wants HQ and what we are going to do about it, but we need to /plan/ and not just /rush in there/ so we are going to have a meeting and that is why he is telling people one on one.
He even acts like he is telling the truth.
ETA: PS, there may be an informal IC planning session tomorrow. He also invites people to that. Maybe 7 central? I will scene it but it will be an @party, not an @event.
